Cheryl founded Katcher Guidance in 2021 when she realized her life’s greatest passion: caring for others. After over 15 years in sales and account management, Cheryl completed two new certifications in 2021: Elder Planning Counselor and Mind Reset - Hypnotherapy. She now serves as the director of care and task manager for families working with Katcher Guidance and offers guided relaxation and hypnotherapy sessions. Cheryl is a caring, compassionate, and open-minded individual who brings professionalism and joy to all of her client relationships.
Cindy joins our team with over 20 years of child care experience. For the last two years, she has worked with adults at the Legion alongside volunteering with seniors in our community.
Cindy's colleagues and clients describe her as compassionate, kind, and full of laughter! We are so excited to have her on our team as a Companion Worker. In this role, she will be able to utilize some of her top skills, including cooking and baking, as she assists clients will meal prep, shopping, organizing, gardening, and light exercise.
Donna is a long-time senior care pro! She has spent most of her career serving in a senior care home dining room helping to build connections and bring joy to all of the residents. Additionally, for the last 5 years, she has been working in companion care for seniors in our community.
Donna is known to be a kind, adaptable, and easy-going presence in the room! She specializes in guide activities like puzzles, crafting, card games, and walking. When she is not at work, Donna likes to travel and spend time with her family, so she will always have a fun story to share with our clients!
Kelley brings 20 years of caring expertise to Katcher Guidance. She managed and ran daycares for 15 years, caring for many youngsters. Then, she went back to school to become a care aide. She has worked in a long-term care setting for more than four years and is loved by both residents and their families.
Kelley is described by many as a kind, caring, loving and devoted individual, who is always smiling.
She will use her skills to train new employees with the highest standards and works as our care-aide consultant.

Kimber first learned the values and skills of caring when she attended The Aveda Institute in Victoria and then practiced those skills at various spas in that city.
She subsequently completed the Health Care Assistant course at Vancouver Island University in 2015, and has been caring in our community ever since. Additionally, Kimber’s training as a firefighter and Medical First Responder has provided her with an eye for safety, and an empathetic, trauma-informed approach to working with clients.
People describe her as friendly, fun and agreeable. Her enduring sense of humour holds up even in the most trying of situations.
We are pleased she has decided to join Katcher Guidance and continue to share her skills with us.
Kerensa is an artist with a calm, nurturing spirit. Kind, caring and compassionate, she has always enjoyed helping people. In high school, her social economics teacher chose her to help the elderly with their groceries. Since then she has gathered over a decade of experience working in home and personal care. She has helped many overcome difficult challenges and live their daily lives with dignity and grace.
Recent life changing events sparked a desire to be more actively in helping people in her community, bringing her the Katcher Guidance.
Kerensa loves to listen, take walks, garden and bring out the creativity in others.
